2005 Women's Soccer Almanac

Women's Soccer at Santiago Canyon. The Lady Raiders were defeated by #7 Santiago Canyon College, 3-1, in the 1st Rd of the Southern California Regionals. Megan Quinn, with the assist from Kellyn Sims, scored the lone goal for the Lady Raiders. The Lady Raiders finish the season at 13-3-5.

Women's Soccer seeded 15th. The Lady Raiders were seeded 15th in the Southern Caifornia Regionals and will travel to # 7 Santiago Canyon College.

Women's Soccer ties Santa Barbara City College. The Lady Raiders tied Santa Barbara City College, 2-2, to finish the season in 3rd place in the WSC. The Lady Raiders now await the play-off seedings.

Women's Soccer ties Ventura College. The Lady Raiders tied cross- county rival Ventura College, 2-2. Brooke Albert scored twice in the 2nd half to erase the 2-0 halftime lead. Mary Vercher and Stephanie Lea had the assists. Brittney Lloyd had 14 saves.

Women's Soccer defeats Hancock College. The Lady Raiders defeated Hancock College, 2-1. Mary Vercher scored the winner in the 70th minute. Megan Quinn also added a score.Provina Sippy had 2 saves.

Women's Soccer at Oxnard College. The Lady Raiders defeated Oxnard College, 3-2. The Lady Raiders outshot Oxnard 32-6. Kellyn Simms scored the winner in the 35th minute. Brook Albert and Elyse Rosenberg also scored. Mary Vercher had 2 assists. Brittney Lloyd had 4 saves.

Women's Soccer defeats LA Mission. The Lady Raiders defeated LA Mission College, 6-0. Elsie Rosenberg, Sandy Skinner, Kellyn Simms Jaime Marmelejo, Brooke Albert and Megan Quinn each scored. Marmelejo added 2 assists.

Women's Soccer ties Cuesta College. The Lady Raiders tied visiting Cuesta College, 2-2. Raquel Caprarella scored the equalizer in the 80th minute. Tianna Thomson also scored to tie the game at 1-1. Brittney Lloyd had 6 saves.

Women's Soccer defeats Santa Barbara City College. The Lady Raiders defeated Santa Barbara City College, 1-0. It took 22 shots but, Brook Albert scored the lone goal of a corner kick in the 80th minute to keep the Lady Raiders in 2nd place. Brittney Lloyd had 9 saves.

Women's Soccer defeats Hancock College. The Lady Raiders defeated host Hancock College, 3-1. Brook Albert, Raquel Caparella, and Jami Marmolejo each scored a goal to lead the Lady Raiders. Hancock only had two shots on goal.

Women's Soccer defeats Oxnard College. The Lady Raiders defeated visiting Oxnard College, 4-1. Brook Albert and Jayme Reed each scored twice to lead the Lady Raiders. Oxnard only had one shot against Brittney Lloyd

Women's Soccer defeats Mission College. The Lady Raiders defeated host Mission College, 6-1. Mary Vercher scored three goals for the Lady Raiders. Kellyn Simms added two goals while Brook Albert rounded out the scoring and added . 2 assists. Rocky Caprarella also had 2 assists. Brittney Lloyd had 7 saves at Keeper.

Women's Soccer ties Cuesta College. The traveling Lady Raiders tied Cuesta College, 1-1. Rocky Caprarella scored in the 17th minute on a corner by Brooke Albert, but Cuesta slipped one past Brittney Lloyd in the 87th minute.

Women's Soccer battles Pierce College. The Lady Raiders lose to undefeated LA Pierce College, 4-1. Mary Vercher scored the lone goal for the Lady Raiders. Brittney Lloyd played the 1st half after breaking her finger in the 10th minute and still managed 2 save at Keeper.

Women's Soccer defeats Citrus College. The Lady Raiders defeated host Citrus College, 9-0. Brooke Albert and Elsye Rosenberg each had a hat trick, while Kellyn Sims added two goals and two assists. Raquel Caprarella finished the scoring and added two assists. Mary Vercher also added two assists. Brittney Lloyd had 4 saves at Keeper.

Women's Soccer defeats LA Valley. The Lady Raiders defeated the visiting LA Valley College, 8-0. The Raiders were paced by Tianna Thomasson, who had a hat trick and added an assist. Jayme Reed, Mary Vercher, Jaime Memilejo and Brooke Albert added scores. Marmolejo added two assists.

Women's Soccer defeats LA Harbor College. The Lady Raiders defeated LA Harbor College, 6-0. Brooke Albert scored twice. Mary Vecher also scored and had three assists. Kellyn Sims, Jayme Reed and Raquel Caprardin also added scores.

Women's Soccer beats Victor Valley. The Lady Raiders defeated visiting Victor Valley, 4-0.  Brooke Albert scored twice while Mary Vercher and Jami Marmolejo each added a goal.

Women's Soccer ties El Camino College. The Lady Raiders tied El Camino College College, 1-1. Mary Vercher scored the lone goal as El Camino scored on penalty shot in the 82nd minute.

Women's Soccer defeats Antelope Valley. The Lady Raiders defeated Antelope Valley College, 1-0, to remain unbeaten in the season.

Women's Soccer opens the season with a win. The Lady Raiders defeated host Irvine Valley College, 4-0. Jayme Reeds and Elise Rosenberg each scored and assited in the other two goals. Brooke Albert and Jayme Marmolejo rounded out the scoring.
