Welcome to Moorpark College Athletics!.
We provide a quality program of intercollegiate athletic programs that will challenge your skills and prepare you to
transfer to a four-year college or university program. Our college has the highest transfer rate for community colleges in Ventura County. We are ranked 2nd in the state for community college transfers to the
four-year colleges.
The Athletic Department is also proud of their Athletes and the Scholastic Achievements over the last 15 years:

Moorpark College belongs to the very competitive Western State Conference and the California
League of Community Colleges Commission on Athletics (COA). We abide by all the conference constitution bylaws and sports supplements, as well as the COA Constitution.
Our athletes are offered opportunities to participate in 16 men's and women's intercollegiate sports.
Moorpark College provides a complete support system for the athlete including a full time
athletic counselor, two athletic trainers, two equipment managers, tutorial programs, financial aid program and complete indoor and outdoor facilities.
Moorpark College has a tradition of winning. We have won 119 Western State Conference Championships with 9 WSC
Supremacy Awards, and 9 California Community College Championships. These successes include: Baseball (4); Men's Basketball (7),Final 4-3 times; Women's Basketball (6); Men's Cross Country (13), with 2 state titles
and 1 second in state; Women's Cross Country (6); Football (10), with 15 bowl games; Men's Soccer (2), with 1-2nd in state; Women's Soccer (3), with 1 state title; Softball(14), with a 3rd and a 5th in state;
Women's tennis (1); Men's Track & Field (11), State Champions '03, 2 time runner-ups; Women's Track and Field (9) with 2nd
3 times and 1 third in State; Women's Volleyball (6)with a 4th & 5th place in the State; Wrestling(22), with 5 state titles, 2nd-2 times; Men's Golf (7), with 1 state title, a 3rd,&4th 2 times and 5th 2 times; and Men's Tennis (1); Women's Golf (0) new sport in 2000; Men's Volleyball (1), State Champions, 2005, new sport in 2002.
