How can I tell if I am eligible to play sports?
In order to be eligible for intercollegiate athletics, the student-athlete must be enrolled in
12 units, 9 of which must be courses outside the Physical Education activity classes.

Any prospective student desiring information regarding athletic participation should make contact with Moorpark College. The information provided herein is for information

Moorpark College belongs to the Western State Conference and the California League
of Community Colleges/Commission on Athletics (COA). We abide by all the conference constitution, bylaws, and sports supplements. We abide by the COA Athletic
Constitution. The Dean of Physical Education/Athletics, the Athletic Director and the eligibility clerk determine all athletic eligibility.
The athletic coordinator and Dean monitor the integrity of the athletic program regarding rules, compliance, and eligibility.
Any prospective student-athlete not living in Ventura County or in the contiguous district desiring information regarding athletic participation at Moorpark College is required to
make first contact with a representative of Moorpark College either in writing, electronically or by telephone.
