students may request interpreters for classroom lectures and labs,
student orientation meetings, tutoring sessions, counseling appointments,
meetings with instructors, or other academically required activities.

as the need is known. Students must have a Physician's Statement
of Need on file with ACCESS.
Procedure
*Meet with the Accommodations Technician to initiate and complete
the Interpreting Services Agreement.
*Use priority registration services to assure sufficient time for
scheduling qualified interpreters and arranging for closed captioning
needs.
*Submit class schedule to both the Accommodation Technician and
the Media Access Specialist as soon as possible.
*Notify ACCESS immediately if there are any problems, absences,
