When to Apply
- For admission into the school, apply at least four months before
the start of the semester. This will insure the earliest date
of registration.
- For the California State Scholarship (CSS), Cal Grant A, B, or C:
- You must apply before March deadline of each year;
- You must renew, if eligible, on or before the
March deadline of each year;
- Applications are available in January, check with
the Financial Aid Office or your high school for
an application.
- For local campus scholarships:
- Check with campus Scholarship Office for application
deadline dates and qualifications.
- Fill out application and identify which scholar
ships you are applying for.
- Ask at least two persons (teachers, counselors,
or someone who knows you well) to write letters
of recommendation for you.
- For financial aid eligibility:
- Deadline for financial aid is June 1 of each year.
When applying you must have application and all
documentation on file by this date. Therefore,
you should be completing your Financial Aid
application in April or May.
- If you missed the deadline for financial aid please
fill out the financial aid application as soon as
possible for funds may still be available.
