Social and Behavioral Science at
Moorpark College includes a variety of departments including Child
Development, Chicano Studies, Criminal Justice, Economics, Education,
History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.
The departments within the Social
Science Division offer a wide array of career opportunities. We
encourage you to check out the information listed on the department
pages that will help you to better understand these opportunities.
Many of our courses are part of
the General Education requirement for transfer programs to 4-year
universities. We also have Associate degree and certificate options
available to suit you educational needs. More information can be
