Degree & Certificate Programs

Whether planning to transfer to a four-year university or looking to polish skills to advance an established career, Moorpark College offers a variety of Interior Design courses to suit individual needs. From these courses, three distinct Interior Design programs were created to fulfill students’ educational and vocational requirements.

The Associate’s Degree program offers a mixture of interior design courses with general education classes such as English, history, and science.

This two–year program prepares students for continued studies at a four–year university or for immediate entry into an Interior Design career.

The Certificate of Achievement focuses solely on the field of Interior Design, offering students an overview of the industry with classes concentrating on the fundamentals, including color and design, small business management, textiles and seven other basic courses.

The Certificate of Completion gives students the option of specializing in one of three areas, preparing them for careers in Space Planning, Kitchen/Bath Design and Health Care Design.
