Moopark College has established a biotechnology training facility on the campus of California State University. Channel Islands in Camarillo. Approximately 4000 square feet of space has been equipped to train students in the techniques and process used in the manufacture of therapeutic proteins.
A gowning room, utilities, cell culture lab, microbial fermentation, recovery and purification areas, analytical methods lab, buffer/media preparation, glassware wash and storage area, all bring industrial biotechnology “to life” in an academic institution. This facility provides an exceptional educational opportunity to students in the program.
