2005-06 Western State Conference Champions

Men's Basketball at College of Sequoias. The Raiders were defeated by host College of Sequoias, 72-80. The Raiders were led by Matt Hornbuckle and Redmond Parker.

Men's Basketball battles Miramar College. In a New Year Eve's matinee, the Raiders were defeated by visiting Miramar College, 80-87. Matt Horbuckle had 16 points and Michael Rodgers added 15 points.

Men's Basketball at Vaquero Classic. The Raiders went 0-2 at Glendale's Vaquero Classic. The Raiders lost to El Camino College, 74-77, and to Glendale College, 105-109.

Men's Basketball 2-0 at Intensity Classic. The Raiders improved their record to 10-2 as they defeated El Camino College and LA Southwest College at LA Southwest's Intensity Classic. On the first night, the Raiders were led by BJ Wortham and Braylin Bowman as they defeated El Camino College, 76-70. On the second night, the Raiders were led by Braylin Bowman's 21 points as the Raiders defeated LA Southwest, 88-78. Bowman was named the Classic's MVP.

Men's Basketball takes Consolation at Rancho Vista Shootout. The Raiders were defeated by Riverside College, 64-80, in the first night of the Rancho Vista Shootout. BJ Wortham led the Raiders with 13 points. On the second night, the Raiders defeated College of the Canyons, 97-74. Justin Turner scored 17 points, BJ Wortham added 16 points. Shane Foster and Braylin Bowman each added 13 points. On the final night, the Raiders defeated Mira Costa College, 96-95. Matt Hornbuckle led the Raiders with 17 points. Dwight Jones added 15 points, while BJ Wortham had 13 points and 9 boards. Mike Rodgers had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament team.

2006-07 Results

Men's Basketball goes 1-1 at Thanksgiving. The Raider lost their first game of the season against a physical Fullerton College team, 62-76. BJ Wortham had 19 points to lead the Raiders. On the second night, the Raiders put away a pesky LA Southwest College, 87-65. BJ Wortham scored 20 points, while Matt Hornbuckle, Braylin Bowman, and Silvio Arie-Lisboa added 10 points apiece in the win. Wortham was named to the All-Tournament team.

Men's Basketball makes it a 5-0 start. The Raiders defeated visiting Orange Coast College, 91-63, to improve to 5-0. Dwiught Jones led the Raider scorers with 14 points, Shane Foster added 13 points, while Braylin Bowman and Silvio Ari-Lisboa each added 11 points. Mike Rodgers had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Men's Basketball makes it 4-0. The Raiders shook off visiting pesky East LA College, 94-78. Dwight Jones scored a team high 15 points and Justin Taylor added 13 points. Matt Hornbuckle added 12 points in the win.

Men's Basketball defeats Barstow. The Raiders looked like road weary as they prevailed over visiting Barstow College, 89-76. Dwight Jones led the Raiders with 13 points. Sean Bryan and Justun Taylor each added 12 points in the win.

Men's Basketball goes 2-0 at Canyons. The Raiders opened their season at the Canyons Shootout and they came away with 2 wins. In the first game, Matt Hornbuckle led all scorers with 15 points to pace the Raiders to a win over Santa Monica City College. In the second night, Matt Hornbuckle and Redmond Parker scored 14 and 12 points respectively to lead the Raiders to 82-80 win over host College of the Canyons.
